Former national senior team coach, C.K Akonnor’s son, Charles Jesaja Hermann Akonnor is one of those who loves the most decorated Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.

 

In an interview published on Omasports.com, the young footballer described how he admires Sarkodie.

Divulging his admiration for the rapper, the youngster stated he grew up listening to songs from Highlife legend Ofori Amponsah. As well as songs from Nigerian Afrobeat stars Wizkid and Burna Boy.

CJ Akonnor who plays for Belgium pro league side KV Kortrij described. Sarkodie as a rap god whose longevity in the mainstream testifies the fact that he’s on top of his game.

“I like to listen to Ofori Amponsah. He’s an old-school musician. But right now, Migos is my guy. In Africa, Omah Lay and many Nigerian artistes doing good music right now, like WizKid, Burna Boy. Of course, Sarkodie is the legend, he said.

“American music, my favourite artiste is Drake and Pop Smoke – because you can feel the energy in his music but he sadly passed away,”.

Rapper Sarkodie is one of the Ghanaian musicians, who has gained a victory from Ghanaian outside and in other African countries.
